Both Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto and his main competitor, the Orange Democratic Movement party leader Hon Raila Amolo Odinga know that for either of them to become the next president, they need the backing from the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. The two leaders have been pitching camp in the region as they try to woo voters on their sides.
But Deputy President Dr William Samoei Arap Ruto has been left in dilemma as he received bad news from the vote rich Mt Kenya Region. According to Nyandarua County Governor Kememia, he revealed that the whole country and not just Mt Kenya will be safe in Raila's hands. He said that they have resolved to support him and there is no turning back.
