New Nairobi Governor swearing in stopped by the Supreme Court

Former ex governor of Nairobi Mike Mbuvi Sonko has taken an application to court that has made the Supreme court stop the swearing in of Ann kananu as the new Nairobi governor.

The supreme court has stopped the process for two weeks and look on forward for the application that Sonko had filled to court. This move comes as a shoke to many since Sonko has not being in the limelight since he was impeached as the governor of Nairobi. The court now is to sit down and listen to the petition that Sonko has taken to court for the next two weeks and come with a final conclusion on whether to stop the process of making Ann Kananu as the new governor of to continue with the process.

Everybody now is waiting to see what will be the ruling of the court on this matter and see if Nairobi will have to get their first woman governor.
