Kenyans have treated to free drama at the Directorate of Criminal Investigations Headquarters after Raila was denied entry into the premises. Raila who had gone to the DCIO to stand in solidarity with Matiangi was shocked after he was told he could not go in. Raila had gone to DCI with a number of Azimio politicians to stand with Matiangi during his grilling by DCI officers.

Upon arrival at the DCI Headquarters, an officer told Raila that he had been instructed by his seniors to deny Raila entry. Raila and his supporters have been shocked by the incident saying that DCI offices are public offices and there is no way they can be denied entry. Raila and his team pleaded with the officer but the officer could not hear none of it.

The Azimio leader and his team have condemned the government for using high-handedness to achieve most of its agenda. Raila has blamed Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza team for running the country without following the law and persecuting former state officers.

“Who is the officer who has sent orders that we do not be allowed in? DCI headquarters is a public office and there is no way we can be disallowed here. Do you want me to ask Kenyans to storm in?” Raila wondered when he was denied entry.
