"I have spoken to my people in the leadership of my constituency and they have given me permission to support the Azimio la Umoja and they have told me that I am ten years old and that I will once again pursue my presidential ambitions in the future," he said.
Kivutha said the reason they chose to support Raila was that he was fighting for the country.
"Raila is the father of devolution and as president, he will protect the devolution of power. I am happy that the next president will take the country forward," he said.
Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho said the demolition would continue."Everyone who has admitted to being Raila Odinga, the devolution continues," he said.
Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu has warned that there is a great deal of danger in electing Deputy President William Ruto as the next president as he has always opposed Kenya's constitution.
"We will do our best to ensure that Raila Odinga becomes president in August," he asserted.
