Just in: Raila Finally Receives Good News From Chebukati As IEBC Makes Major Declaration

According to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), six emergency kits have been created for each ward as a backup in case the digital voter register fails to function properly. They highlight, however, that the manual register is their final resort.

This is good news for Raila Odinga, who previously stated that if the digital register fails, the manual register should be used.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chair Wafula Chebukati has denied accusations of a conspiracy to sneak ballot papers through Uganda and stuff them into voting booths in favor of one political party.

"Ballots for voting have security features. They will enter from a single point; JKiA, "he asserted.

He indicated that the presidential ballot would be the last to be printed.Mr. Chebukati stated that all preparations were completed 32 days before the general election.

He did not, however, explain how ballot printing began before the official announcement of qualified candidates.
