Leaders all over the country has been on the forefront urging Kenyans to come out in large numbers and ensure that they register as voters come 2022. Just from what the IEBC has released within a period of one week, it is actually contrary to what most of the Kenyans expected.
Most Kenyans expected that by the time Chebukati announces the first results from IEBC on voter registration, them President Uhuru Kenyatta's backyard should be at the top but is is unfortunately that the region is not even appearing at the top ten counties.
It has come to everyone's attention that amongst the counties ranked as top ten counties are majorly referred to as Dp Ruto's strongholds. It is reported that the IEBC has targeted to register over six million voters but as per today, they have registered over two million.
As per the statistics shared by the board in charge of election, IEBC, Samburu county has led with 8% achievement. Though the county is expected to have registered over 20, 000 voters by the time the process is complete.
Kenyans have shared their mixed reaction as revealing that no one may understand what is going at Uhuru Kenyatta's bedroom since it is one of the major region that top politicians have observed camping their in a vote hunt race.
This is witnessed through several tours that are made by the top candidate in the country, the former prime minister Raila Odinga and the second in command are major leaders who believes that once they win the heart of voters from the region which is estimated to be having over 5 million voters.
Kenyans have been asked to continue registering as voters so as to take part in the choosing of leaders come 2022.
