Azimio's Abdulswamad Takes An Early Lead Against UDA's Hassan Omar Sarai as Tallying Continues

Reports hitting the airwaves this Tuesday morning indicates that Azimio- One Kenya Candidate for Mombasa County gubernatorial contest Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir takes an early lead against United Democratic Alliance candidate Hassan Omar Sarai as tallying continues after conclusion of voting process.


According to reports going around Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir vying on Orange Democratic Movement ticket has 101,658 votes while close competitor vying on United Democratic Alliance ticket Hassan Omar Sarai has 88,352.

The results are however less one constituency after tallying of 5 out of possible 6 constituency in Mombasa County, only Likoni Constituency is still pending.

"Just in: Mombasa governorship; Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir of ODM has 101,658 votes while UDA's Hassan Omar has 88,352 from 5 out 6 Constituencies, only Likoni pending." Reads the publication.


Others in the contests is Awiti Bolo and Hon Kingi of PAA, affiliate party in Kenya Kwanza. With results expected anytime from now, Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir victory will play a huge boost in Azimio- One Kenya controls of Counties.
