Kenyan politician and head of the Orange Democratic Movement party Raila Odinga is well-known and has dominated Kenyan politics for the past 30 years. However, he has endured a great deal of hardship, losing five games in a row. His supporters had hoped that during the most recent elections they would be able to pass over to the promised land, but everything went awry.
The former prime minister has so received bad news from President William Ruto's supporter, who claims that his wife cost him the August victory. Former Bahati Constituency Member of Parliament Kimani Ngunjiri claimed on Twitter that Ida Odinga, the former prime minister's wife, was responsible for his defeat.
In the presidential election of August 2022, Ruto defeated Raila Odinga with 200k votes.
He admitted that what Ida Odinga was recorded saying that they are going to reduce the number of churches in kenya like in the case of Rwanda, saying that the controversial remarks gave then the political mileage.
"The last thing that gave us 200,000 votes is when Raila Odinga's Wife Ida said that they are going to make sure churches in Kenya are going to be reduced like those in Rwanda, that gave us alot of mileage" says Former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri
According to Kimani, he refutes claims that Chebukati rigged Raila Odinga and handover victory to Ruto as people believe, as well as claims that Former president Uhuru Kenyatta conned Raila Odinga. Feel free to share your views and thoughts in the comment section below
