Kandara member of the National Assembly Hon Alice Wahome has sent a cryptic message that may be embeded with sarcasm to Kieni MP Hon Kanini Kega and Nyeri Town MP Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu as early indications project that the two sitting MPs may lose their parliamentary seats.
Hon Wahome opines that she had offered some motherly nuggets of wisdom to Kega and Wambugu who she refers to as her sons but she says they had ignored her.
''Yule Kanini Kega na Ngunjiri Wambugu, niliwaambia tu, apana cheza na mzazi. My sons, sasa oneni,'' she wrote on her official facebook page.
Hon Kega was seeking his third term in office while Hon Wambugu was seeking a re-election for the second time.
The two were battling it out with their mainly UDA competitors in Nyeri county which apears to be politically dominated by DP Ruto's led UDA party.
They were on the forefront in drumming up support for the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition party presidential candidate Rt Hon Raila Amolo Odinga as a gesture of their loyalty to the outgoing president H.E president Uhuru Kenyatta who is also Azimio's chair.
UDA affiliated MPs in the vote-rich Mt Kenya region who may retain their current seats include herself in Kandara Constituency and Hon Ndindi Nyoro in Kiharu constituency as per early projections.
