ODM Senator Now Wants Stern Action Taken Against Rigathi Gachagua

Narok county senator Ledama Ole Kina has now urged NTSA to take stern action against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua over his Kisumu action last week.

Taking to his Twitter account on Monday afternoon, the vocal Orange Democratic Movement party legislator said that the move by the Transport Authority to arrest touts and matatu driver who were seen hanging on a moving vehicle should cut across.

According to Ledama, the two touts could have learnt the art from the second-in-command who was also pictured hanging on his vehicle.

"Now tell me my good friends @ntsa_kenya why should you arrest a Matatu Driver and two Conductors for hanging on a moving Matatu yet they learnt from the second in Command Mr. Riggy G himself @rigathi ?? Stop your double standards men! Cut them some slack!"posed Senator Ledama Ole Kina.

The sentiments by Ledama Ole Kina comes a few hours after NTSA announced that they had arrested the touts who were captured in a video that went viral on the internet.

"The driver & the two conductors have been arrested. They will be charged accordingly. We urge all road users to remain vigilant & speak out against such behavior,"read NTSA tweet.

On the other hand, DP Rigathi was pictured in Kisumu last week after attending the music festivals hanging by the vehicle.

This happened while he was forced to address the jubilant residents after the music festival.
