Bomet Governor Hillary Barchok heckled in Kericho county

The political heat in the country continues to rise day by day as Kenya is gearing in towards the August 9th general elections where Kenyans will be electing new leaders from the president to the members of county assembly.

The Kenya Kwanza Brigade led by the running mate,Mathira member of Parliament,Rigathi Gachagua and Ford K party leader was in Kericho trying to seek for votes in their quest to form the next government come August.

Bomet Governor Prof Hillary Barchok was also present.Bomet governor urged the residents to vote in "suit" that is all the leaders elected should come the United Democratic Alliance party.

However Prof Hillary Barchok was forced to cut short his speech as a section of youths kept shouting "Taret Taret" a popularly Kalenjin phrase used by Gubernatorial hopeful Isaac Ruto who is his competitor.

The increasing shouts and heckles forced the Master of Ceremony to ask Governor Hillary Barchok to cut short his speech.
