"I am no Longer Bitter With Uhuru for Working With Raila" DP Ruto's Ally in Sudden Change of Mind

As the 2022 elections near, political temperatures seem to be changing to hotter and even unexpected moves around the political scenes seem to be turning very fast.

Kirinyaga county woman representative Honourable Purity Ngirici has said she Joe understands why president Uhuru Kenyatta dumped his deputy and decided to work with Raila Odinga.

“The president only got a new friend who was his political arch-rival. The move calmed the country and the protests became a thing of the past. I am now no longer bitter about the move since Waiguru’s defection opened my eyes,” Ngirici said.

This is a huge blow to the deputy president William Ruto who has been depending on her support to mobilise Kirinyaga people to be part of his United Democratic Alliance movement Party.

It is not yet clear if she is headed to the Kieleweke faction that supports the Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.

Things seem to have changed since Kirinyaga county governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru decided to support deputy president William Ruto and his hustler nation movement.

This saw her move to the United Democratic Alliance movement Party from the ruling Jubilee party that she used to support before.
