Drums of the general elections are beating and Raila Odinga is trying to craft new alliances and mark boundaries in his traditional bases to boost his bid. Raila has been vying for presidency since 1997 with chances of winning being high but his enemies have been snatching it from his mouth. However his critics are sure he is not going to win this election too because his strongholds like Coast and Western region have recently changed their tune. His allies believe that this time they have the system that is Uhuru who will not only gift Mount Kenya block to Raila but also reward him for accepting handshake. This believes sometimes get bitter because politics are full of betrayal and one can change their mind overnight. Mount remains the determinant of who will win the election even though Uhuru has recently said he will not endorse anybody for presidency. It is in this same Mount Kenya region that Ruto is having enormous support hence only the elections will tell the truth.
