A very close ally to Ruto from Mt Kenya has left Kenyans talking after his controversial remarks about the election of Kanini Kega as an MP for EALA.
Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu, issued a statement at his official twitter account revealing how he was overwhelmed by Kanini Kega’s win in the EALA seat. He included the Deputy President Hon Rigathi Gachagua in his comments. According to Mr. Wambugu, Kanini should go forth and make a well representation for Kenya.
Wambugu also added that, Kanini’s win was not easy and he deserved it. He was happy that Mt. Kenya region was safe in his hands.
Hon Ngunjiri Wambugu tweeted, “CONGRATULATIONS KANINI & RIGATHI. Congratulations Kanini Kega for this win. Go forth and represent Kenya well. Congratulations Rigathi Gachagua as well. It can’t have been easy. But you saw the big picture. Clearly Mt Kenya is in safe hands.”
