Today president Uhuru Kenyatta addressed the nation from Kirinyaga county. The president was gracing the Mashujaa Day celebrations with various dignitaries. The president through the powers vested on him has officially lifted the nationwide curfew. The order will take place immediately across the country and security forces will implement it.
Kenyan across the country have gone into celebration mode after this announcement. The local media stations have uploaded videos and photos of various parts of the country. Kenyan are now happy because their businesses will experience a growth in profits.
