The choice of Martha Karua as Raila Odinga's running mate has been the talk of town. It has also caused celebrations from different parts of the country because of they win, she will be the first female deputy president of Kenya. Many have praised her because of her integrity.
The latest person to react is former presidential aspirant professor Ole Kiyiapi. He took to Twitter to say;
"Today history was made. The most reformist Presidential ticket in history of the republic became a reality. Today heralded a journey to a new dawn in our country. The pulse of the Nation is high and positive, something great is happening. Congratulations Hon Martha Karua." 
This choice just comes a day after deputy president William Ruto chose Rigathi Gachagua. Therefore, this will bring scramble for the voter rich Mt Kenya region. William Ruto has been enjoying their support in the past. Therefore, the focus is to see if Martha Karua will change that.
