The Kenyan government broke its quiet today, 7th of March 2023, with a significant announcement regarding the National Identity Card, often known as a Nation ID.
The Kenyan government, speaking via Huduma Kenya, has emphasized the critical significance of possessing a national Identification Card, stating that doing so allows one to access government services in the quickest and most convenient manner.
The Kenyan government has also disclosed that a large number of national identity cards—over 200k, according to statistics—are currently stored at numerous Huduma Centers across the nation.
All Kenyan citizens who have not yet obtained their National Identification Cards are required by the Kenyan government to visit their local Huduma Center and do so as soon as feasible.
