Hon. Caleb Amisi, a member of parliament for Saboti, has now declared that he will support and collaborate with President William Ruto while continuing to be a fervent supporter of ODM leader Raila Odinga.
He emphasized that his decision to collaborate with President Ruto was made solely to ensure that the Kenya Kwanza community he represents received funding and recognition from the Kenyan government.
Speaking to his Saboti residents, he denounced the claims made by his detractors that he is eluding his political godfather, Raila, and that he is launching development initiatives without the consent of President Ruto.
"I'll bring Ruto here to start projects, but that doesn't mean I'm giving up on working with Azimio la Umoja," she said.
"My constituency need expanding road networks and better healthcare services. I want to collaborate closely with the Kenya Kwanza government because of this," he stated.
The legislator went on to criticize Patrick Khaemba, the previous governor of Trans Nzoia, asserting that their lack of cooperation with him contributed to the infrastructural crisis in his province.
Regarding his relationship with the present governor, George Natembeya, the legislator hinted that things were going well and praised the governor for being a County political leader who was focused on development.
He continued, "This time I have found a governor who is development oriented, and we will work closely with him to develop this great county.
