We are only a few months from the general elections and political temperatures have already begun rising. The current top political contenders for the seat of the president who have declared interest include DP Ruto and Raila Odinga.
Ruto been will be running on a UDA ticket after falling out with his boss Uhuru and ditching the ruling Jubilee party. Raila on the other hand will try his 5th shot at the Presidency seat on the ODM ticket.
However, Ruto's political ambition seems shaky following the recent revelations against him by nominated MP Maina Kamanda who is also a top Azimio la Umoja ally.
According to Kamanda, President Uhuru will soon unveil a plan to finish Ruto in Mt Kenya by campaigning for Raila. If his words are anything to go by, then it will be a big loss to the second in command considering Uhuru is a powerful figure.
