Odinga's burden of history and lessons on 'Project' tag he must shed - The Standard"/>Nandi senator Hon Kiprotich Arap Cherargei has made an attempt to predict what might be happening in the mind of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition party flagbearer in the August 2022 presidential elections, Rt Hon Raila Amolo Odinga.
The Nandi senator admits that the ODM party leader without any challenge won all the opinion polls in the build-up to the August 9th general election and this might be what is giving him denial to admit his defeat to the incumbent Kenyan president Dr William Samoei Ruto.
''Raila won in all opinion polls and no one is in contest about it. That is what is confusing him but he should know that he lost in the elections,'' said Cherargei.
He has further offered Hon Odinga nuggets of wisdom concerning the appointment that president Ruto has offered to the former Prime Minister stating that Hon Raila should seize the opportunity while it still presents it self.
''Accepting poll outcome is not favour he is doing to anyone. He should accept appointment by H.E Ruto while still viable,'' he added.
