Leaders are preparing on how they will win their desired elective post in 2022 general election. They are holding meetings that are bringing together influencial local leaders. Nationally, Ruto, Raila, Musalia, Kalonzo, Jimmy Wanjigi among other leaders have declared their plan to run for the top seat. Others like Dr Khalwale are eying for the governortorial seat.
Dr Khalwale is planning to seek Kakamega electorates' mandate to serve them as their governor. He is planning to through UDA party. Today Dr Khalwale has said that age is just a number. This means that age should not be used as factor in seeking and electing leaders.
However, Kenyans have bounced on Dr Khalwale. They blasted him because in Tangatanga camp, they say that Raila is too old to be a president of Kenya. They are advocating for new and young leaders. He was told to stop political discrimination he is practising.
If age is just a number, why are they telling Raila to retire from politics because he is old? Are they preaching water but drinking wine?
