The Migori county incident where the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) presidential hopeful Jimi Wanjigi was forced to cut short his speech after his vehicle were pelted with stones is still drawing a lot of attention in the country.
A number of people including the ODM top leaders have called on the relevant authorities to investigate the matter and bring to books those behind it.
Through her facebook page, the Jubilee woman representative for Kirinyaga county Wangui Ngirici has told the ODM leader brace for tougher times ahead as he plans to consolidate the Mount Kenya votes ahead of the 2022 general elections.
Wangui further stated that the people of Mount Kenya are very peaceful and can never be associated with the party that lacks tolerance and divergent ideologies.
"With such kind of hooliganism, climbing the mountain will be very difficult for Tinga. The stoning of Jimi Wanjigi in Nyanza today is outlandish and despicable," she said.
Wangui Ngirici is one of the Mount Kenya leaders associated with the deputy president William Ruto under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA)
