The Covid-19 has struck the Kenyan economy hard and led to devastating conditions of major factors of the economy .with comparison 2020 which attained a 5.4% GDP growth ,2021 is expected to report a decrease of 1.4%in GDP.
Agriculture which is the most important economic sphere of Kenya has also been adversely affected due to the wide spread of the corona virus causing deaths hence reducing manpower .The recent borrowing of the government from IMF has been actively condemned by Kenyans with claims that the country will be declared bankrupt . However with the current condition , Kenya had to bail out in order to afford sustaining various vulnerable factors of the economy and service the overwhelming loan deficts that needed urgent servicing .
The Government is facing finincial budget deficits as it embarks in trying to settle health ministry revenue allocation overwhelming bids which it has been forced to outsource funds from other service delivery dockets' and acquiring more loans and grants .
Lately ,the Kenyan currency has been reported to weaken by 110ksh to the US dollar .I a edition the NSE has also received a big hit ,reporting a drop of 20%of the market share index .
