Susan Kihika Among Nakuru Leaders Missing as President Uhuru Arrives in the Area for a Top Event

Kenyan Head of State president Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday arrived in Nakuru county for two high profile events.

According to State House, he will preside over the conferment of Nakuru county a charter making it a city after having successfully qualified for the same.

He is also the Chief Guest during an event that is aimed at commemorating this year's world's aids day which is taking place at the Nakuru Athletics Club.

"His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta arrives in Nakuru County for a day-long working visit during which he will preside over the national commemoration to mark this year's #WorldAIDSDay at Nakuru Athletics Club and Conferment of Charter to the new Nakuru City at Nyayo Gardens."State House

The Head of State arrived at the area aboard his military chopper which landed a few minutes after noon to the reception of a huge delegation of leaders from the national and county government of Nakuru.

Among those present is the Nakuru county governor Lee Kinyanjui who is a close ally of both president Uhuru Kenyatta and his handshake partner Raila Odinga.

The Principal Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Health PS Mochache was also present during the event representing the Ministry of Health.
