Kalonzo is set to return to Azimio even after being given green light by IEBC on possibilities of running for Presidency. This comes days after soul searching whereby he decided to take the Chief Minister position and be awarded other ministerial position so as to rejoin the Azimio.
Kalonzo has experienced difficulties in vying for the Presidency since he did not meet the minimum requirement that was to submit signatures of 48,000 supporters in both hard copy and soft copy.Mutula Kilonzo has said they came to a conclusion to rejoin Azimio since they are determined to foster peace and end corruption in Kenya.
Political analyst Masibo Lumala has faulted Kalonzo Musyoka of his late decision making citing that Kalonzo would have been on the upper hand in deciding who will become the next President since he could have forced a run off.Kalonzo coming from a region close to 2 million votes, could have managed to have the negotiating power Incase of a run off and this is how he could have remained relevant had he sticked to One Kenya Alliance. Please share and follow me.
