Roots Party leader Professor George Wajackoyah has announced his new roles before sending a stern message to President William Ruto.

The leader who lost in the last presidential General Election declared himself the official leader of opposition in the country.
Referring to himself as the "Joshua", Wajackoyah declared his readiness to take Kenyans to "Canaan".
"I am the Joshua and I want to take you (Kenyans) to Canaan. I am the Official Opposition leader in this country," he announced.
Message to Ruto
The leader went ahead and sent a stern message to the incumbent President, warning that he will keep him in check for he will be the next President.

"But I want Ruto to know keep him on strict watch whenever he goes astray because I am the next President of this country," he warned.
Wajackoyah had vied via Roots Party, deputized by Justina Wamae. The duo however later fell out and the Party leader demoted Justina. She later declared her support for the current regime.
