Former Kieni Member of Parliament and the East Africa Legislative Assembly nominee Hon. Kanini Kega has ironically confirmed that he will rally the Mt. Kenya block behind his arch- political nemesis the Deputy President Hon. Rigathi Gachagua.
Kanini Kega paid a courtesy call on Friday to Nyeri County Governor Hon. Mutahi Kahiga in his office where they held longetive talks as they started rallying Mt Kenya leaders behind DP Rigathi Gachagua. The two announced plans to hold a series of political meetings with leaders allied to Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition and the larger Kenya Kwanza Alliance towards supporting and endorsing Goeffrey Rigathi Gachagua as the larger Mt Kenya topmost politician and political kingpin.
Mr Kega announced that he will foster the regions unity behind the DP but within his political formation the Jubilee Party led by former President Uhuru Kenyatta. Mr Kega move renders credence talks of a possible Jubilee Party moving out of Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition to merge or to work together with Kenya Kwanza Alliance ahead of 2027 polls.
