William Ruto Bows to Pressure Set to Visit Bomet County After Skipping it Days Ago

After skipping Bomet county in his 5-day Rift Valley visit, Deputy President William Ruto has bowed to pressure and set aside a day to visit the county. During Kericho's visit, few Bomet leaders who attended were displeased with his decision to skip their county. They asked him to set a day to visit. 

William Ruto will visit Bomet county on the 19th of December. He heard the calls of the leaders and is set to officially open Bomet Riverside AGC and after addressing his supporters at Bomet town. The plans of a visit by the DP have caused mixed reactions from leaders who fear the eventuality of Ruto's visit.

In his 5-day visit to the rift days, ago leaders who performed dismally were booed so are those perceived to be going against the Deputy President. Kericho county governor Paul Chepkwony, Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter, Nandi county governor Stephen Sang and Kuresoi south MP Joseph Tonui became victims of angry crowds. 

In Bomet the tension between CCM and UDA is high, It's not known if the DP will ask Bomet electorates to vote for UDA aspirants and leave out his newly made friend from CCM Isaac Ruto. Isaac Ruto is under pressure from his friends who have decamped CCM for UDA.
