Cabinet Secretarty Likely To Land In Trouble After Being Accused Of Going Against A Court Order

The Outgoing Cabinet Secretary for ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs Joe Mucheru could land in trouble after being dragged into the epicenter of a power struggle over the appointment of the position of chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the ICT Authority, a state corporation.

Trouble is said to have began last month following Joe Mucheru's move to appoint Mr Stanley Kamanguya as Chief Executive Officer CEO towards the end of the term of the former President Uhuru just days to the on August 8 general election.

Mr. Stanley Kamanguya who was appointed the CS was said to have been number two having scored 73.4 points against his close Challenger Dr Paul Kiprono Ronoh who had 82.7 points while Mr Fredrick Okoth Bitta was third with 71.4 points.

This appointment was made despite the court had issued orders on August 23 against the appointment of a substantive CEO.
