IEBC Completes Verification Of Results At Bomas of Kenya

The people of Kenya have been patiently waiting for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to finish counting the votes and announce the winner.

As soon as the IEBC finishes tallying, the results would be made public, according to IEBC chairman wafula chebukati.

William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM), George Wajackoyah of the Root's Party, and David Waihiga of the Agano Party are the four presidential candidates.

Reports on Citizen TV's "Kenya's Choice 2022" show claim that the IEBC had finished its verification as of 9:56 a.m. Citizen TV's newscasts confirm this, though.

Just minutes earlier, David Mwaure Waihiga, leader of the Agano Party, admitted defeat and pledged his support for William Ruto, the vice president. Mwaure also urged the IEBC to swiftly complete the verification process and proclaim the winner to the Kenyan people. The author appreciates your attention to this piece.
