Raila received a heroic welcome in Nyeri, which happens to be Former president Kibaki's home - a candidate he had flagged and supported to victory in the 2002 general elections.
While Nyeri elicits a lot of history in the country's politics, Governor Kahiga attacked Raila saying that they shouldn't focus so much in the history of the country but forge forward. The move wasn't taken kindly by Siaya Senator James Orengo as Orengo notes history is very crucial.
Kiambu county women rep Gathoni Wamuchomba has now weighed into the matter. She has praised Kahiga for putting things in black and white during the event. He has also sent message to Junet to ask him to take note of what Kahiga has said.
" Thank you Governor Mutahi Kahiga for saying as it is. I hope @JunetMohamed heard your sentiments cleary......hatutaki hadithi za wabunuasi kwa mlima. Hatununui uoga " Wamuchomba said.
