On Sunday evening, Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua was invited to vernacular television station Inooro Tv owned by Royal Media Services company. The Nyeri legistlator was invited at the show alongside Nyeri Town Mp Wambugu Ngunjiri by renowned media personality Francis Gachuri.
Rigathi told it all after Gachuri asked him about his loyalty to Jubilee party the party that he was elected in by. Rigathi told the host Gachuri that he was no longer in Jubilee party and his monthly contribution to the party was something he hasn't been paying in full.
Rigathi further went ahead to say that he only contributed Ksh 500 to Jubilee party and the remaining Ksh 9500 he eats. ' I pay Ksh 500 to Jubilee for my monthly contribution to the party and eat the rest of Ksh 9500'. Rigathi said. Members of the rulling party Jubilee are always obliged to pay Ksh 10,000 to the party and according to the parties constitution it would be wrong for a member not to contribute.
However, Rigathi Gachagua and other notable Mt Kenya leaders allied to the deputy president William Ruto have shown dissatisfaction with rulling party Jubilee. Thus, they have decamped to the newly formed political outfit UDA where they have been popularising the outfit in central region and Kenya at large.
