What President Uhuru Has Done Today That Has Left Many Kenyans Praising Him

President Uhuru Kenyatta today while at the State House in Nairobi has donated ten buses to various secondary schools and community groups across the country. Among the community groups which have benefited include the Catholic Women Association of Maralaal Diocese and Marafiki Football Club of Nyeri county.

The school buses were donated to the Tumutumu school for the deaf of Nyeri county, Marifano High of Tana River County, Olurukuti secondary school of Narok County and Achego Girls secondary school of Kisumu county. Other schools which received the president's benevolent were Rukanga secondary school of Kirinyaga county, Mnagei secondary school of West Pokot, AIC Moi Girls Maralaal as well as Kisima Girls of Samburu county.

In line with president Uhuru Kenyatta's dedicated fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, he has donated 2,000 reusable masks to each of the schools.

The brief handover ceremony was attended by key government officials including the Senate leader of majority Samuel Poghisio and Samburu county MP Maison Leshoomo. Other key leaders who attended include Naisula Lesuuda, Ali Wario, Kanini Kega, James KOyoo, Ngunjiri Wambugu, Gichuki Mugambi and Kabinga Wathayo.

Kenyans have flooded the State House Kenya page to praise president Uhuru Kenyatta for what they have termed a good gesture.
