Martha Karua is leading in the race for the Kirinyaga county gubernatorial seat. Martha is overwhelming voted in if elections were held today according to the latest opinion poll. The former Gichugu MP is leading with over 50% followed by Kirinyaga women representative Purity Ngirici. The current Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru will be floored and will come a dsirance fourth with less than ten percent. This comes after an opinion poll that was released by star newspaper that ranked Martha Karua as the most preferred candidate to deputize William Ruto.
Ann Waiguru shifted her allegiance to William Ruto a few weeks ago in what she termed as a move that was taken after consulting the residents of Kirinyaga county. Ann Waiguru and Purity Ngirici have been fighting each other politically and recently, Ngirici's husband who is a billionaire accused the governor of removing the billboard bearing Purity Ngirici.
Whom do you think will win the Kirinyaga seat if Martha Karua will become William Ruto's running mate?
