Mwea Afternoon Incident That Has Issued President Ruto A Clear Image Of What The Ground Needs Wants

Today kicks a new week of its own and more so the last week's entry before the Christmas event takes place this Sunday the 25th. Kenyans continue to raise their eyebrows over the issue in their hands now that they have to prepare themselves for what has to be happening as they end this year's activities.

Going to the matter in hand, over the rising high cost of living, William Ruto's administration had offered to allow the importation of Genetically Modified Food including maize to combat food problem in the country.

Many leaders had gone against this as they saw it as a way of demoralising the locally produced food. Mwea residents have this afternoon denied the move of importing rice into the country but Wahome, a renowned lease in the region had approved Ruto's move as valid and making sense.

Through his official Facebook account, Wahome Thuku claimed that in 2020, former President Uhuru Kenyatta issued an order for all rice supplied to government institutions to be bought from Mwea but still, they didn't listen to him and voted for Ruto over Uhuru's preferred presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
