Thousands of Murang'a county residents turned out to welcome former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga to the region on Saturday morning.
From a video that has been shared by Raila Odinga, his motorcade can be seen surrounded by several people who are along the road welcoming Raila Odinga.
He has noted that it will also give him a chance to enjoy the music as Murang'a is known as a centre of music because of the many musicians that Murang'a county has produced.

He will be in Murang'a under the reception of former presidential candidate Peter Kenneth who is also the former Gatanga constituency Member of Parliament.
Others are Murang'a county woman representative Honourable Sabina Wanjiru Chege, Jubilee party deputy chairman David Murathe and other top leaders.
