Kiunjuri who is also a principal of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance went ahead disclose about the infighting happening in the alliance. The former Cabinet Secretary said that there is some kind of entitlement by some politicians especially those in UDA party.
He said that during Ruto's recent visits in Mt Kenya region, only UDA politicians were recognized and they were campaigned for. Other aspirants vying on affiliate parties of Kenya Kwanza were not recognized or given a chance to speak.
Kiunjuri said that the infighting in Kenya Kwanza Alliance may cost William Ruto at the end. He cited how Azimio has set a structured campaign timetable where every party is given a chance to participate.
"I admire how Azimio they are campaigning. Their team is well structured and there is no infighting. In Mt Kenya region, we have seen Martha Karua of NARC Kenya hunting for votes with Peter Munya of PNU. Their only focus is drumming support for Raila Odinga and not these other candidates. Kenya Kwanza should also concentrate on seeking support for William Ruto and not this other rivalry," alluded Kiunjuri. (Watch video from 25 min).
