Trouble Looms in Azimio As Kalonzo Now Insists That His Aspirant Mike Sonko Must Be on The Ballot

Kenyans are 38 days away from the general election. The August 9th election is starting to witness heated campaigns from across all political divides. The four presidential aspirants are outsmarting one another now that the manifestos are officially out.Kenyans now have time to choose the best manifesto before the election date.

This time,Raila Odinga has teamed up with President Kenyatta to bring on board some 26 political parties that are now backing Raila's bid.Kalonzo Musyoka has decided to back Odinga for the third time. However, this has come after seriiof consultations. In the coming government if Raila Odinga wins, then Kalonzo will be the Chief Minister.

Kalonzo's Wiper party had fronted Mike Sonko as the party's Mombasa Gurbanatorial candidate.Unfortunately,Sonko got barred following his impeachment years ago.Later, court reprieved him.Seemingly,Kalonzo and Sonko have not given up.Trouble is looming in Azimio once more. The team is struggling to have the weaker candidates drop out for stronger ones. However,Kalonzo has vowed that Sonko must be on the ballot. If it becomes a reality, who between Sonko and Abdulswamad Sharif Nassir should bow out for the other?
