We are counting less than three hundred days to the much awaited 2022 general elections. Political temperatures have been getting higher and higher in all parts of Kenya as aspirants of different elective seats have been racing against time to sell their agendas to the electorate.
Kericho county has not been left behind in matters politics. The serving governor, His Excellency Paul Chepkwony is expected to retire from the job after serving the county for two terms. The position has thus attracted a number of hopefuls including the current Senator, Aaron Cheruiyot.
Another notable figure that has joined the race recently is none other than Lawyer Felix Kiprono Chesireereet. Do you remember what the legal mind did some time back? If not then don't worry, let me remind you. Kiprono expressed his interest in marrying Malia, Barack Obama's older daughter. He offered a number of livestock as dowry in order to win the hand of Malia but unfortunately for his dream gave birth to reality.
Kiprono is expected to use United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party to try his luck in the seat. Do you think he can emerge victorious in the party's primaries/nominations or even in the race itself? Feel free to share your thoughts through commenting.
