Activist Bonface Mwangi has come out to give another statement after his house was bombed down by some unknown people. Mr. Mwangi through a post which he deleted after some minutes, claims that lack of accountability in Kenya has led some people to believe that they can do anything, whenenever they want and to whom they want. He recalled the death of another activist which took place in July 2021 and the president promised people that the matter will be investigated and the culprits brought to book. It is however three months and nothing has been done and no one has been arrested in connection with the murder of Joannah Stutchbury.
Mwangi has also added that some politicians are calling him privately wishing him sorry for what happened. Mwangi claims that civilians don't own guns and also do not have expertise to plant explosive like the thugs who came at his home. Additionally, Boniface Mwangi has claimed that anyone who is having information about the people who bombed his house or the corruption in Machakos should email him through [email protected] anonymously.
