"The leader of the Hustler movement Deputy President William Ruto will make an intensive grassroots tour of the Four Luo-Nyanza Counties within the second half of the Month of July." reads part of Owalo's statement.
Owalo further revealed that Ruto will begin the tour with Migori and Kisumu counties in the third week of July after which he will visit Homabay and Siaya in the fourth week of the same month.
He also revealed the activities the second in command will engage in. "Apart from utilizing the opportunity for a direct interface with the Hustler masses within Luo-Nyanza during the tour,the Hustler Team Leader will also attend Church Services and spearhead economic empowerment programmes for youth and women groups during the tour." Owalo stated.
The tour comes amid Covid-19 pandemic and the region has been recording increased number of positive cases, in this regard, Owalo has revealed that they will strictly adhere to the set rules and regulations by the ministry of health.
"All the programmes and activities during the tour will be conducted within the ambit and confines of COVID-19 Protocols"
