
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has pleased with Raila-led opposition team to give them time before they can actively start their opposition role.
Gachagua's statements are now coming during the time opposition leaders are currently putting pressure on the government of the day to meet the promises they gave to Kenyans during their campaign trails.
Raila Odinga who is leading the opposition has remained critical of of the government as he blames them for failing to bring down the cost of living in Kenya.
Speaking in Kericho County during a thanksgiving ceremony, the Deputy President now says that the previous administration messed up with the economy as he request the opposition to allow them bring it in order before they can start the oversight.
DP Rigathi Gachagua said "To our detractors, we can’t clean the economic mess of 5yrs in 30 days. We are cleaning your mess and once we are done; you can start your oversight on our programs"
