President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta on Monday hosted various political and government leaders at State House, Nairobi.This was a bouquet dinner hosted in honour of the visiting Hungary President Janos Ador and his spouse.Janos arrived in the country last Sunday for a four-day State visit.
Apart from President Kenyatta other leaders who attended the evening dinner were Orange Democratic Movement Party leader Raila Amolo Odinga,Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani National Congress Party Leader Wycliffe Musalia Mudavadi, KANU Chairman Gideon Moi and their Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Masika Wetangula.Deputy President William Samoei Ruto was conspicuously absent from the event.
Other leaders present were Chief Justice Lady Justice Martha Koome, Transport CS James Macharia,IT CS Joe Mucheru and Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu.
At the event, Uhuru lauded the bileteral ties between Nairobi and Budapest that has vehemently promoted the economic cooperation between Kenya and Hungary.
The meeting has politically raised eyebrows as President Uhuru Kenyatta had been previously seen courting the OKA chiefs to work with Raila in the forthcoming presidential contest.However,no political statements emanated from the Monday event.
