Former prime Minister Raila odinga was in isiolo county yesterday as he continues his his Azimio La Umoja initiative ahead of the 2022 general election. The former prime Minister was welcomed by the isiolo governor Mohammad kuti as they joined hands to ask voters to register and vote in the next election.
Speaking in a stopover in Isiolo county Raila joked that he wants the Isiolo residents to have a gun and a bullet saying that a gun is like a national identification card while a bullet is the vote. He said that for one to be his follower, one must have these two things so that him being the commander, wherever he makes a command that they either move to the right, to the left or if he says about turn ,they do what he wants them to do.
He said this is the only way to be prepared and to be follower for him adding that being registered as a voter and having national ID is the most important thing for him ahead of 2022.
