MP Delivers a Shocker Why Mt Kenya is Embarrassing Uhuru Days After David Murathe’s Attack

Following recent attack by Jubilee Party vice chairman David Murathe on Mt Kenya residents for humiliating President Uhuru Kenyatta in the by-election, a Member of Parliament (MP) has delivered bad news to Uhuru.

After recent talks from a section of leaders urging the Mt Kenya residents to speak with one voice and rally behind President Uhuru, Naivasha MP Jayne Kihara said that will not happen anytime soon.

Kihara revealed new reasons why Mt Kenya residents will continue punishing and attacking President Uhuru after a section had claimed he chose the wrong team to work with.

Kihara, according to Nation said that Mt Kenya residents don’t have money in their pockets due to the current situation, Covid-19, as she blamed Uhuru’s government for destroying most businesses owned by residents from the region.

“As it is, Mt Kenya voters are not through with punishing the government that they hold directly responsible for their escalated poverty levels owing to loss of livelihoods to the fight against counterfeits, beautifying Nairobi and Covid-19 where government policies ordered destruction of his (President’s) peoples’ imported merchandise, demolished their kiosks and business closures,” said MP Kihara.

Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua on his part blamed those who are in President Uhuru’s inner circle for the recent humiliation after Jubilee was defeated by other parties in Mt Kenya where he is the kingpin.

Gachagua named Murathe as one of the people who have made Mt Kenya residents to punish President Uhuru.

The Mathira MP claimed that Murathe and a section of leaders working closely with Uhuru are making mistakes and utterances that does not seat well with the region.
