Political tension has really built up in the country as fresh details emerge on daily basis. This happens as the ground keeps getting tough with several issues arising every other day. As we speak, presidential aspirant DP Ruto and Raila have been issued with a great task to save the trouble prevailing at county level.
It is said that counties have not been allocated funds over claims that they haven't used the previous funds. According to Governor Ongwae, he has asked aspirant DP Ruto and Raila to push for release of they want to win. He asked them to show effort that atleast they care.
"While Kenyans continue to demand for services from counties, operations at the national government remains uninterrupted while county services are paralysed and nearly grinding to a halt. We call upon Treasury to expedite the release of these funds without further delay," said Ongwae.
This is something that has caused great confusion at county level where several workers have not received there cash. Either way, the county is also unable to maintain it's facilities.
