The One Kenya Alliance OKA principals led by Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka have claimed the government is trying to woo them into supporting former prime minister Raila Odinga ahead of 2022 general election.
Popular City lawyer Donald B Kipkorir has weighed in on the alleged efforts by the state to have former National Super Alliance NASA coalition principals back Odinga's bid.
According to Kipkorir it is unrealistic for the state to coerce Musalia Mudavadi and Kalonzo Musyoka support the ODM boss.
He said Raila is likely to win the upcoming elections without the support of the duo claiming Musalia will bring less than 50,000 votes and Kalonzo 500,000 votes.
The Odinga allied lawyer claimed these number of votes will add no value to Odinga's 2022 bid.
He asked the government to stop bothering Mudavadi-Kalonzo and let Raila choose his 2022 patners independently.

"Why State House is enamored with & forcing oka principals to support Raila Odinga is beyond my pay-grade. Kilonzo yes, may add Baba 500,000 votes but Musalia won’t even deliver 50,000. But Baba will win without oka principals. Please State House, let Baba chose his Co- Principals," the city lawyer tweeted on Tuesday night.
