Heavily Guarded Ruto’s Motorcade Makes a Stopover in Eastern as Uhuru Is Expected in Nakuru Today

A heavily guarded Ruto’s motorcade which was in the company of several top politicians from the GEMA community has finally landed in Lower Eastern where is presiding over rallies that are geared towards ensuring that come 2022 he wins the next general election which has been slated for August 2022.

Ruto is visiting the area at a time when the president is in Nakuru to formally confer Nakuru to city status. Ruto is expected to miss out at the event a day after he met up with Uhuru in parliament for a nation address.

The two leaders fell out some years back and since then Ruto has been on a mission to popularize himself in the absence of Uhuru who is seemingly unbothered with endorsing Ruto for the top seat come 2022. Uhuru is on a mission to leave behind a rich legacy once his term comes to an end.
