A around 12PM today on February 16th, a red chopper carrying the ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, KANU party leader Gideon Moi and their Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka touched down at the Bungoma Airstripi for the scheduled rally for Ford Kenya's candidate in Kabuchai ahead of the upcoming by-election.
The three top leaders joined their Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetang'ula at his Namuyemba home together with Kiminini MP Dr Chris Wamalwa and Bungoma Women Representative Hon Catherine Wambilianga among other leaders for a brief meeting of the day ahead of that rally.
They came from the sides of Kakamega and were as well joined by the former Machakos Deputy Governor Bernard Kyala who has defected to Wiper from the DP's camp.
I happened to be in Bungoma town when their chopper landed at the airstrip and made an effort to check out who the owner is after they had left for Kabuchai.
As seen in the photos below, the red helicopter belongs to the Wilson Airport based Sicham Aviation Ltd company which deals in helicopter charter and training business.
According to a 2011 article by 'Business Daily,' Sicham Ltd Company is fully owned by Gideon Moi.
The Ford Kenya party leaders will be camping in Kabuchai to intensify Majimbo Kalasinga's parliamentary bid on the better part of today and tomorrow.
Below are some photos that were taken at the home of Wetang'ula earlier today;
The link below has a video that was recorded live from Wetang'ula's home during their short press briefing.
