Kalonzo Musyoka Alleges What Happened In 2022 Elections, Asks Kenyans To Pray For Him

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked Kenyans to pray for him to get out of what he described as a "political prison".

Explaining the reasons for feeling locked in a political prison, Kalonzo said that for over a decade, he has been hit by a severe political cold. Kalonzo said this while addressing the thanksgiving service of the Kiambu University Students' Association (KUSCO) on Sunday, January 15, in Thika, Kiambu County. Kalonzo noted that he has not yet accepted the results of the August 9, 2022, general election, which saw the Union of Resolution losing to Kenya Firs. Let me quote what Kalonzo said, "I have gone through three stolen elections in 2013, 2017, and 2022. Apostles here and Kenyans, please pray for me to come out of this prison. I still don't believe election because many mistakes were witnessed during the process. The only way we will continue is after receiving a thorough review of what happened during the election."
